Owner of Big Nicks Bakes Pizzeria
Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Nick Monte was heavily exposed to different environments of food. Not only does the various environments have an influence on his pizza, but his immediate environment within his household did as well. Growing up in both an Italian and Chinese family, the clash of cultures brought a unique light within his style of cooking. Nick has collectively worked in high-end restaurants, bakeries, and has managed many catering events. Currently living in Austin, TX, Nick has found a lot of opportunities in feeding the community of great people in Texas. Nick genuinely would like to thank everybody for the love and support from family, friends, the team, and the community.
